What Causes Shortness Of Breath After A Knee Surgery?

Hello. Just had knee surgery, and am having a reaction to one or more medicines I m taking. I get exceptionally short of breath, even after using Ventolin and Benedryl. But much later the signs go away. So I m wondering which of these medicines are causing the problem. Medicines are Metoprolol, Torsemide, Aspirin, Oxycodone, as well as several others. Can you see any reason to suspect medicine interactions?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult a physician and plan for an X-ray to rule out possible causes like lung contusion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
