What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Delivery?

I m 31, had a baby last week, I have had shortness of breath, pain in breathing, my pulse is 36, my blood pressure is 174/90, (usually 102/60), I have hypothyroidism, and some abdominal discomfort since yesterday, I am very athletic, I am concerned, what could it possibly be? Thankyo

Hello dear, welcome to'Ask a doctor'service. I read your query and here is my advice.
I would like to advice you to do a urine analysis for proteine in urine.
I suspect you may be suffering from pre eclampsia that continues even after child birth.
You may need hypertension medication immediately.
Talk to your doctor about it.
