What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Increasing Coreg Dosage?

my husband was diagnost with A-Fib when he had cartaract surgery last month. the doctor upped his Coreg from 3.12 to 6.25 and finally to 25mg. he since has a lot of shortness of breath. He had a Cardio conversion but is still short of breath. Do you think he could be on to high of a dose? he wasn t short of breath on the low dose

Hi,

It may not be related to Coreg.

Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated.

You have to get an echo test and serial ECG monitoring to rule out possible cardiac causes.
