What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Insertion Of A Pacemaker?

My mother had s pacemaker fitted7weeks ago and had catheter ablation done 10dsys ago. This was for atrial fibrillation. She felt great for 3days post procedure but has since developed shortness of breath and heaviness in the chest. She seen her gp today as now has suspected shingles and found out the heart was skipping a beat but the gp did not seem concerned about this. Could this be part and parcel of the procedures or should this be investigated further? Many thanks Ciaran

If I was at your place I would like it to be investigated further because heart problems are one thing I don't take lightly . You should get a cardiologist opinion for her dear .
