What Causes Shortness Of Breath Along With Elevated CO2 Levels?

Recent blood labs indicated high CO2 levels. I sometimes have shortness of breath, and this worries me. My primary physician ordered a chest xray that is negative. I have recently been diagnosed with Lyme Disease, chronic. I am seeing a LD specialist Monday. What do you think is going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of difficulty in breathing following a history of Lyme disease I am suggesting that the Lyme disease has predilection in the lung tissue leading to respiratory distress syndrome
In view of this please see a pulmonologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
I hope this helps
