What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Chest Discomfort?

I am a 63 year old woman in good health, 5 6 , 133 pounds, non-smoker, occasional glass of wine. In the past couple of months, I experienced shortness of breath three times, almost like I just stopped breathing with an odd feeling in my chest, not pain or pressure exactly. I know it scared me the first time as I thought I might be going to have a heart attack

Consult a physician and get evaluated.

A detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause. Serial ECG and echo are required to rule out possible cardiac causes.
