What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Chronic Cough?

hi i have a chronic cough since oct. i had a pulmonary function test yesterday and it showed it was not my asthma. blood test show its not viral. i am short of breath and find even walking difficult. i have a history of asthma but my inhalor are not doing anything for this shortness of breath im not wheezing though. what could this be, i dont smoke.

You might be having a heart failure. If your legs become swollen, if you have difficulty in breathing while you lie down, then it is likely you are having a heart failure.

Do chest x-ray, ECG and cardiac ultrasound tests and let a cardiologist evaluate you.
