my name is gary i am 54yrs old/for past 2 weeks when i go iup stairs i lose my wind and sometimes need to go down to a knee due to dizziness and lack of able to breethe its scary. done roofing const. for past 37 years.i no longer do roofing due to no longer can handle heat. this.seems to be getting worse its really got me nervous. i have been to emergency rooms in the past due to heat exhaution i weigh about 130 lbs im a new grandpa getting ready to retire from the union.no longer can do my trade do to being a liabillty so im told. getting nervous this has never happend to me before. please help. thank you much. gary
You have breathlessness on exertion. And it is commonly seen with heart and lung diseases. So better to consult a doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring, and 2D echo to rule out heart diseases. Get done chest x-ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out lung diseases. Treatment is based on the diagnosis. So first diagnosis and then start appropriate treatment.
