What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Fatigue In An Elderly Person?
HI, I am a 52 yr old female. The past two days I get very tired and winded going up stairs. I do workout and experiences shortness of breath from time to time, but not like this. Under a lot of stress so thinking it is just anxiety. Does this sound right? No pain, no dizziness

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like asthma , cardiomyopathy , obesity , pulmonary fibrosis or other heart related problems . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG , complete blood profile , troponin t and check vitals and treat accordingly . Doctor may also refer you to chest specialist for lung problem or allergy specialist for problem like asthma . For now eat healthy and try to do some light exercises like walking.
