What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Tiredness After Undergoing Triple Bypass Surgery?

Hi My name is Tanya and my Dad had a triple bypass 3 weeks ago. Has been home for 2 weeks and seemed to be doing really great the first week. This week not so much. Shortness of breath, weak, and very tired and can not seem to walk much at all. The first week he was doing so great with walking down the road and back.should I be worried?

Hi,

Yes, you are advised to see your cardiologist at the earliest, as these symptoms may be definitely due to some blockage of coronary vessels. Your dad might have to be re-evaluated by EKG, echocardiography and also by coronary angiography, if needed, to confirm/rule out any blockage of coronary vessels.
