What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Tiredness While Having Atrial Fibrillation?

I have a-fib, but my cardiologist thinks it may something else causing me to be short of breath and weak and tired. My pulmonary doctor is treating me for asthma, but I continue to have the same problem. I had a mytra valve replaced in May this year.

Hello,

Your breathing problem may come from the heart or the lungs. You are taking medications for asthma, and I suggest you do cardiac sonography to see the mitral valve and probably a 24h ECG Holter monitoring to see the cardiac rate.
