What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Wheezing Along With Coughing Up Of Phlegm?

I am a 58 year old woman and for the last 4 months have had shortness of breath, wheezing. In the last year I have lost a lot of my sense of smell my nose is stuffy most of the time and I ve been having nose bleeds. At the end of April I had bacterial pneumonia and I ve had this wheezing and shortness of breath ever since. Occasionally I m able to cough up very sick clear flem. What could this be?

Hello,

It can be a lower respiratory tract infection like pneumonia. Consult a physician and get evaluated. Antibiotics must be started at the earliest.
