General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think asthma has been aggravated from a severe sinus infection. Run chest x-ray to evaluate the situation. Antibiotics alone will not help.

Should increase the dosage of meds you are currently taking for asthma. Apply vapour rub on chest and back at night. Mucolytics to use to dissolve phlegm. Antihistamine to ease coughing.

Prescription steroids injection until betterment. Discuss this with your caring doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
