What Causes Shortness Of Breath Despite A Normal EKG Report?

The past few years, I have been experiencing a progressively worsening shortness of breath, syncope, and recently, and many other symptoms that were diagnosed as pulmonary hypertension. I was examined by a cardiologist and a pulmonologist including a couple of EKGs, an electrocardiogram, a sonogram (right term?), etc., but an angiograph proved normal blood pressure in my heart and pulmonary artery and no other heart defects. These two experts are at a loss. What else might it be? I didn t know what PH was, let alone what all of these other conditions might be.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to the history you provide there are other causes of breathlessness despite heart problems such as lung diseases. For his you should discuss with your doctor.
