General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you explain are typical of a panic attack so very likely your son is having panic attacks causing the complaints. These are generally not dangerous and are easily treated.
On the other hand, because he has a history of a heart valve replacement, it is safer to have a visit with a doctor and rule out potential problems related to it first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
