What Causes Shortness Of Breath During The Day?

I have shortness of breath during the day I take laxative every night due too constapation I have been for years I have had a colonoscopy and it was normal I do suffer of anxiety I try too control it has much has I can I also have hart problems were my hart beat is fast and then it s normal and fast again. I was on medication for this but I didn t feel it helped me it was lowering my blood pressure to much and had too go off them, which I feel better off for it.. I m concerned if their is more wrong with me. I am 57 years old Thanks for help

Hello,

If you are experiencing breathlessness while doing some physical effort that can be cardiac and will require further evaluation. Overthinking induced breathlessness are anxiety induced and anxiolytics are the treatment options.
