What Causes Shortness Of Breath, Pain In Left Side Of Body And Low Grade Fever?
47 year old female. Non smoker, non drinker. No major health problems. Take 60 mg nifedipine for benign hypertension. Have heavy periods and fibroids. Can t seem to keep iron levels up. Shortness of breath walking across floor. Pain on left side when I lean on elbow or arm (pinched nerve diagnosed years ago). When I sit too long or go up or down steps, I get sharp knee pain. Not sure that this is all related. Having fever between 99 and 100.4. Can hear my heart beating in my ears (sinuses?).

Your symptoms of Weaknesses ,palpitations ,pain could be due to anaemia because of decreased hemoglobin levels ,as you have heavy bleeding secondary to fibroids. I advice you to take iron supplements oral or parentral to improve hemoglobin levels which in turn may relieve you of your symptoms.get treated for fibroids as early as possible
