General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Chest X-ray to rule out any chronic lung infection alongside blood counts as well as inflammatory markers may be needed. If X-ray is unremarkable CT scan chest or abdomen for any underlying pathology causing weight loss should be ruled out as well as any signs of enlarged lymph nodes. Symptoms may not be ignored as such. LDH levels may also be needed along with peripheral blood film.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
