Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Shortness Of Breath While On Aspirin, Tramadol And Atorvastatin?
I am taking asprin, mobic, ticagrelor, metoprolol, tramadol, ramipril, atorvastatin and panadol osteo after suffering a heart attack 8 months ago and am experiencing shortnes of breath. Can you tell me if any particular one of these tablets is causing the problem?
To be honest, these drugs do not cause shortness of breath, rather they can help shortness of breath. Your previous history of heart track is more important in this regard as a heart attack can sometimes weaken the heart hence causing shortness of breath. I would advise you should see your doctor and get an echo and x-ray done to see for your heart status.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
General & Family Physician
