What Causes Shortness Of Breath While Suffering From LBBB?

I am 34 and was diagnosed with left bundle branch block when I was sick with bronchitis. I suggested an EKG and my doctor did one to ease my mind because I was so sick. He thinks I ve had the LBBB since birth, but sent me to a cardiologist. The cardiologist didn t seem concerned. He schedule a stress test and a return visit in August. My concern is that I am still not feeling 100%. I have upper back discomfort and shortness of breath that comes and goes. Is this my bronchitis lingering for a month or longer?

I do understand your solicitousness

“As” per your clinical history is concerned you have shortness of breathing and it can be due to many causes. So do CBC with differential and chest X-ray to know or ruled out possible pathology.

You have already mentioned about ECG findings and in my opinion what was the result please check and discuss with your cardiologist about it -:

1)Check QRS intricate if it is 120 ms or more.
2)Check R wave in leads 1,avl,V5,V6 which should be broad and notched.
3)Check absent of Q wave in lead 1,V5,and V6
4)Check for rS pattern in V1 to V2
5)Check your heart rate if it is below 60 beats per mins

So do test and discuss with your treating doctor for a precise analysis today and let me know the result to guide you further.
