What Causes Shortness Of Breath While Suffering From Stomach Flu?

I went to the hospital day before yesterday for dehydration due to stomach flu. I am able to keep down water and gatorade and crackers and toast. 3 days ago I was sick from both ends(sorry for graphics) no more vomiting but diarrhea in the am today. I am continuing to have shortness of breath...is this normal? What should I do??
