What Causes Shortness Of Breath While Talking And Eating?

My son is 21. He is telling me that he has shortness of breath while eating and when talking a lot. He says he is yawning many times in a row. Also as soon as he eats within 5 minutes he has to use the bathroom. We are not sure if those symptoms are related or not. Also when he lays down at night he will continuously yawn unless his hands are behind his head.
