What Causes Shortness Of Breath?

My husband has been short of breat, for four weeks. We have been in ER three times and have seen several Dr including his Heart Dr. They have run a battery of test. And they can t find any thing wrong. He s been there n the hospital two times. But no results he is still very short of breath and can t Do anything, he even gets short of breath talking on the phone. Any suggestions

if his all tests are done . go for blood cp his hb levels and try to exclude if he has some sort of allergy towards any thing . any food or plant eg people do have pollen allergy.. or asthma or is he taking any medication ? or any heart disease.
