sir, i want to know why my yrs old son is having the problem of shortness of breadth after some mild fever with cough .Actully, for the past 2 ,3 days he has some cough and yesterday evening he got mild fever with headech for which i gave apropate dose of nicip plus .and in the morning he got complain of congestion and shortness of breadth with dry cough . hence , seening this i gave him anti biotic medicine such as honitus cough syrip , clavid medicine (combition of amox 250 mg and potassum calvinute75mg). along with vitamin A to Z. two times (Morning and evening) .but the compline of congestion is still having.

He is already on antibiotics and still feeling chest congestion. So better to consult pulmonologist and get done 1. Clinical examination of respiratory system 2. Chest x ray to rule out lung infection. 3. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis. He may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). Mucolytic and expectorant drugs are also helpful to relieve chest congestion. Since all these drugs are prescribed medicines, better to consult doctor. Hope I have solved your.
