What Causes Sickness After Consuming Alcohol?

After my son has been drinking alcohol he is sick that night but doesnt wake up. I am really worried that he will choke on his vomit so slept in his room and got hime to sit up everytime he retched which was about every 20 minutes initially. Will he grow out of this with time or is this always going to be the way his body reacts to alcohol?

Alcohol is a poison to the body. Some people lack the enzyme to break it down, so even a little alcohol can cause a very bad reaction. This is a genetic condition that he will not grow out of. He should avoid alcohol entirely. Hope this answers your query.
