What Causes Sickness And Irregular Periods?

Hi I've been feeling sick lately mainly in the mornings i haven't actually been sick though i also get the feeling during the day too. I've also been having a problem with my period, I've had them 3 times this month for only a day and after that i get this red brown discharge that lasts 3-4 days. I know i am slightly anemic but does this have anything to do with my problems?
