What Causes Sickness, Dizziness, Pressure In Head, Blurred Vision After Taking Amoxicillin?

Hope you can help me? My husband was diagnosed with H Pirolito, and celiac desease, he was given claritomycin, amoxicillin, omeprazole for 14 days, he only took it for 7 days because it made him very sick , it s been 10 days since he stopped taking the medicine, and he is still feeling very sick, dizzy, pressure in his head, his vision is blurry and can t focus . I m very worried, we ve been in an out of the ER, and doctors office, , please help us are this symptoms normal ?

As per my clinical experience, the dizziness, pressure in head, blurred vision are not related to amoxicillin intake as its last dose was consumed 10 days before. The usual period of side effects last for around 2-3 days max in case of such antibiotics. Might be of concern to get the effects via auto immune response of Celiac disease or else.

Kindly discuss the issue with his treating physician or his internist for getting further guidelines of action and management. Till that time, give him plenty of liquids including oral rehydration salt to control his blood pressure and sugar levels.
