What Causes Sickness, Headaches, Cough, Nausea And Dizziness?

Hello my name e is Sheila . I ha e den feeling sick for about the last 2 to 3 weeks ,with headaches bad cough and neasua,now my eyes feel funny they hurt, I am getting dizzy and fatigue. Also my stomach has been hurting like I am trying to have cycle but I had a hysterectomy in 2012 . I have been to Dr about 2 weeks ago , I am do back to see him in 6 weeks. He feels it is a virus what do you think? ,

Hi,

Yes, it can be viral illness but lower respiratory tract infection or atypical pneumonia should be ruled out with baseline blood work up as well as with chest X-ray and inflammatory markers. Possibility for secondary bacterial infections should be ruled out as it may need antibiotics in such cases. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
