What Causes Signs Of Period With No Actual Bleeding?

I am currently taking loestrin24Fe and barely had a period after the second month and am no finishing the third and have barely had any bleeding. Both months i have had signs of a period with cramping and headaches and fatigue but no bleeding. My boyfriend and i are sexually active but always use condoms and i am consistent with the pill. Is this normal?
