What Causes Sinus Pain, Neck Pain And Lightheadedness?
Woke up stretching for the alarm clock and pulled something in my shoulder, neck and head; harsh pain. The pain subsided in about half an hour. While standing up about an hour later, broke out into a cold sweat throughout my body, felt lightheaded with sinus like head pain in the forehead, back bottom of head and in cheek areas. Felt light headed and nauseated all day, neither has decreased.
As per query you have symptoms of sinus pain, neck pain and lightheadedness which is not giving you exact relief. I would suggest you to get prescribed antibiotics first of all, as the antibiotics you have taken are not the specific ones to treat sinusitis. Hence, you are not feeling completely better. Visit ENT specialist once get an X-ray of the paranasal sinuses to confirm the diagnosis and check for any blockage of the sinuses. Do steam inhalation 2-3 times in a day. Steam is a very good nasal decongestant; it helps in reducing your problem sooner. use saline nasal spray as frequently as possible. you can take using ambroxol or bromhexine . Neck pain can cause dizziness ,doctor may examine ear for this . For now do not bend forward .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
