What Causes Sinusitis And Dizziness?

Symptoms like sinusitis, but having some vertigo, or dizziness. Thought it might be heat stroke, when I threw up some water initially. The vertigo is not going away after 24 hours. Wondering if it is viral or bacteria, that some antibiotics would help. Not nauseas anymore.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely the symptoms you are having are due to a viral infection and antibiotics will not be beneficial at this stage. If you get a fever that goes on for longer than 3 days or you feel any worse, you will need to have a check with your doctor to confirm if there is a complication with a bacterial infection and if antibiotics are needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
