What Causes Skin Colored Bumps Near The Mouth?

I seem to have tiny flesh colored bumps on the inner edges of my mouth. I ve had this before about two weeks ago but it went away when started drinking more water.I haven t been sexually active not kissed anyone in years.What can be the cause of this?

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain the flesh coloured bumps on inner edges of mouth does not seems to be herpes rather it can be due to some allergic reaction or it can also be due to eating or drinking something very hot leading to formation of small bumps as a reaction to the injury caused by heat or it can also be due to lip biting habit or accidental lip biting..
They can also be Fordyce's spots which are raised sebaceous glands and are anatomical structures and do not need treatment..

You need not to worry and as of now no medicine is as such needed..
You can do warm saline gargles and gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia..
Drink plenty of water and suck ice pops..
In case if the bumps does not resolve consult an oral physician..
