What Causes Skin Discoloration After Taking Isotroin?
I am on Isotroin dosage since 3 months but my skin has become more sensitive even if I go for a while in sunlight I become very darker. Should I use ban a tan cream but I don t know its contents as Im afraid of hydroquinone, mercury, steroids based creams as they have severe side effects . Which cream is safe and can be used for long periods to have natural glow without any side effects.
Well , first of all consult your skin specialist or Dermatologist and get checked and see if you need to stop taking Isotroin or continue.
In case of side effects gradually reducing the dose and then stopping it will be better..
As far as Ban A Tan is concerned it contains Arbutin, Licorice and Mulburry extract as active ingredients and does not contain any steroid..
You can use the same and you can use Kojic acid containing creams as well. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest you to get checked clinically first and then only you should proceed for anything else..
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora, Dentist
