What Causes Skin Dryness And Small Pimples On Face?

My daughter is vacationing in Florida from Massachusetts. Yesterday the skin on her face was very dry, flaky and painful. Tiny pimples appeared and have now gotten bigger and still dry skin, and the bumps are pus filled and very painful. What could this be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain if there has been sudden occurring of pimples on face and dryness it can be due to excessive sun exposure, allergic reaction to any face cosmetics or any food or medicine, or infection and inflammation on face..
You should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and treatment of the underlying cause will resolve the symptoms..
As of now you can take anti allergics medicine like Benadryl or Allegra..
You can apply Clindamycin or Erythromycin containing ointment..
Do cool compresses..
