What Causes Skin Growth Under Breast With Fluid Discharge And Odor?

HI Dr Rynne, I have a skin growth that has been fairly fast to appear ( one month to become 1/2 pea size). It is on torso, under breast and is blood filled. It exudes a clear liquid that has strong smell. What could this be and how can I take care of it until my dermatology appointment. (I will need it removed because bra irritates it).

Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed abscess a bacterial infection.
It is common to develop in skin folds.
You can use an antibacterial cream like mupirocine to be applied twice daily for a week.
These infections are usually of mixed type and need treatment with oral medication.
Meet a dermatologist as soon as possible.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
