What Causes Skin Irritation And Bumps On Penis Shaft After Masturbation?

I masturbate frequently and do not use lubrication. i noticed irritation and 3 bumps around the ring of my shaft right as the color changes to darker. i am circumcised without a lot of skin flexibility. My new girl friend felt my penis and raised questions. I told her it was friction, but she said never felt anything like that before. It doesn t hurt no puss or secretion and it has happened in the past when I masturbate with out any lubricant and then goes away. should I get it checked? and what do i say when I call my doctors office? Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Of course you should call your doctor's office. It can be a sexually transmitted disease and not just friction lesions. I think you should do STD test first before thinking that it is nothing to worry about.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
