What Causes Skin Irritation On The Inner Thigh During Periods?
Hello Doctor, For last few months during my periods I feel a lot of skin irritation on my inner thigh skin and anal region. I use sanitary napkin but when I remove it I feel better. I have been using whisper ultra since 12 years of age but never had any problems earlier. What can be the cause of the same?
As per your query you have symptoms of skin irritation on the inner thigh during periods which is mainly due to heat rash leading to frictional heat generation.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with application of aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day as this is safe and natural extract of cereals. You should apply topical antibacterial cream. Apply aloe vera gel to keep moist. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. You should go for antibiotics (Clindamycin), a corticosteroid ointment, and hydroquinone. Do not scratch pimples as they will get infected. Avoid exposure to sunlight and keep areas clean and dry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
