Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
It seems like the foreign body is still there inside the skin and you have developed infection around it. You will need a course of antibiotics which your doctor will prescribe tomorrow. Till then you may apply neosporin ointment thrice daily. Soaking your finger in warm saline water will help decrease swelling and pain.
The foreign body has to be excised once infection subsides to prevent similar episodes in the future. Hope this helped.
Take care.
