What Causes Skin Surface Pain From Groin To Buttocks?

My husband has skin surface pain on the right side of his body. Even pants irritate the pain, but there is nothing showing on the skin. He said it is not deep pain. It is from the groin area, around to the outside of his hip to his buttocks. What could this be?

Hello,

I can understand your concern for pain at groin region and related area of surface pain on the right side.

It appears to be a pain of neuralgia parasthetica. I prefer to give a tablets with multivitamins on the daily basis. Vitamin B12 is quite helpful in the same. In this condition there is irritation of nerves on the little side because of the which it causes pain on the affected area.
I suggest you to meet a neurologist to confirm diagnosis.
