What Causes Skin Thinning On The Elbow Post A Cortisone Shot?

I have thinned skin on my elbow from two cortisone shots in the past year. The skin tears and bruises very easily. What can I use to help repair my skin and make it thicker again? I am never getting another cortisone shot in my elbow for tendonitis again!

Hello,

I think the best way to regenerate your skin is to protect them from friction and trauma. Use hydration cream over the elbow skin. Use vitamin E and C rich cream. Wear long sleeves.
