blonde/red hair, fair skinned, 11 year old boy got severely sunburned front and back torso down to waistband with blistering on shoulders at a water park on Wed. Today is Friday and his chest area looks to be a white/purple/bluish color, it s not splotchy but it s also not the entire burned area, it s almost a T shaped area centered

it is post inflammatory hypopigmentation. This commonly occurs after trauma or burn in pigmentation prone patients. some develops hyper some develops hypopigmentation.
apply sunscreen regularly and emollient it will restore the normal pigmentation.
