What Causes Skipped Heart Beats And Difficulty In Breathing?

Out of no where my heart will skip several beats at a time.I was lying down once and my heart skipped about 15 times within 5-10 seconds and during that I could not breathe and it felt like my heart was thumping around in my chest, but there was no pain. What could it be?

HI i read your query very carefully.

It looks like you are experiencing premature beats (ventricular extrasystols).

I recommend to run the following examinations:
-ECG
-ECHO
-Holter monitoring

Based on the result proper treatment should be given to deal with your concern.
