What Causes Skipped Heart Beats?
I am having skipped heartbeats with every 4th or 5th beat. I wore a heart monitor for 48 hours and they weren t picked up. My blood pressure machine picks them up. The problem with the heart monitor is that they sometimes stop and then resume days later.

You must be under the wrong notion that you are having skipped heart beat. This is because, with heart monitor, if this existed, it must have been picked up. Blood pressure monitor would only help in recording blood pressure and does not pick skipped heart beats. You need to be examined by a cardiologist or a physician with stethoscope to record heart sounds and examine for skipped heart beats. If evident, then the cause for it could be explored and treated accordingly.
