Hi,
It is part of the process of menopause that sleeping becomes difficult, especially if you have the habit of a long afternoon nap. It is because of the changes that continue to occur in the hormone pattern of the body, the electrolyte balances and the mineral levels which effect the mental status and sleep patterns. Please see that you maintain a healthy diet, healthy weight and regular exercise. Yoga practice and meditation along with breathing exercises help a lot. Go to bed after having a luke warm bath and a glass of milk. Book reading and a comfortable clothing and bed room also help. Hope this helps.
