What Causes Sleepiness After Taking T-minic Syrup?

Dr, my 4 year old daughter has taken aroun 22 m T-Minic today evening. After that she is sleeping for 1 hour until now. We have contacted our doctor and he says let it be and will not make any issues. Usually she is very active until 9PM. Please let me know if need to do any precaution.
