What Causes Sleepiness And Cold Chills After A Dog Bite?

Hi, I m living in Uganda and my 9 year old was bitten by a police dog today. The policeman said that the dog has had all it s jabs and is up to date with it s rabies shots. The bite punctured the skin and drew blood but it didn t bleed for long and doesn t look deep. My concern is that she has become sleepy and says she s cold. And has now fallen asleep. Is this a concern?

IN Short: Go for antirabies vaccination atleast 03 doses if dog is vaccinated.

Explanation: What ever may be the condition of dog. It is better to take 03 doses of antirabies vaccine(Chick embryo cultured vaccine) and observe the dog. If it dies then you have to take another 2 doses or else you can discontinue it.
