General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned you should not stop medication so start medicine as per your treating Doctor's advice. Do few modifications like this -

1)Do exercise regularly as per your physiotherapist. Strengthening the trunk muscles helps stabilize and support the spine.

2)Good posture reduces the pressure on your spine and disks. Keep your back straight and aligned, particularly when sitting for long periods. Lift heavy objects properly, making your legs.

3)Try to maintain a healthy weight. Excess weight puts more pressure on the spine and disks, making them more susceptible to complications.

Hope That Helps
