What Causes Sleeplessness Along With Body Pains?

I was give sleeping pills and zolof to help me sleep and give anxiety pills. My doctor is ordering a sleep test for me soon. These doctors at the hospitals started me on all these nerve pills. I am 76 and my girls have taken all my meds to the police to be disposed of. Now girls gave me over the counter sleep aid. joke. Dr told me today to take benadryl.tonight. I take lorazepam for anxiety. Body is also in so much pain. thank you. it is hard to explain.

Sleeplessness along with body pain is indicative of insomnia due to pain. The cause of such symptoms are medical conditions like chronic pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, nerve damage, shingles, osteoarthritis, RA, Shingles, MS, neuropathic pain, etc. You are suggested to get clinically examined, get all required tests and investigations done so that the pathology causing symptoms can be treated at the earliest.

Taking pain relieving medications after food will help to sleep better. Sleep hygiene like dim lights, comfortable bedding, avoiding coffee, nicotine, alcohol, large meals at night will help better sleep. Physical therapy, exercises, massage therapy, relaxing techniques are also helpful. Get connected to a Physical therapist.
