What Causes Sleeplessness And Loss Of Appetite?

Hi, Iv not been sleeping to good for the last couple of days well last 6-7 days,iv been waking up every hour.Iv lost my appetite. What can I do to resolve this as I am finding hard to consentrate at work and tend to gaze into space a lot which I hardly ever did?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sleeplessness and loss of appetite. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like depression , insomnia , excessive caffeine use , sleep apnea , GERD or peripheral neuropathy. I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor will take history and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe vitamin supplements or may refer you to psychiatrist for depression or stress or order sleep study for sleeping apnea . Doctor may recommend CPAP machine for sleeping apnea . Psychiatrist may prescribe alprazolam .
