What Causes Sleeplessness,loss Of Appetite And Vomiting In A 1 Year Old Child?
Pls my son of a year +3months hv been hvin sleepless night for 5-6days with no appetite,vomiting, lossing weight seriousy,crying and I was told it could be worm so I should deworm him n pyrantrin oral suspension was sugested which I bought n gave him 10ml day b4 ystd n d pains n his crying came down I also gave him ORS oral rehydrated salts ystd but dis night he is feeling discomfort again so I don t knw if I gave him overdose. Pls help

Seems that your angel is having intestine infection through some sort of bacteria or virus, which is responsible for loss of appetite, vomiting and sleep disturbances due to abdomen colic most likely. I would recommend that he requires:
- Consulting with his pediatrician
- Prescription of anti emetic syrup as ondancetron
- Antibiotic as cefixime or else to control infection of intestine
- Take care to avoid putting of toys in mouth while playing
- Hygiene care of mouth, hands during, before and after bathroom use
- Liquids at regular intervals to avoid dehydration
- Yogurt support intestine flora for faster recovery
